| Antonio and Giuseppe Perini arrived to Brazil in 1876 and brought from Italy the art of turning grape into wine; there came together the image of the Holy Guardian Angel to bless their vineyards. In 1970, Benildo Perini - grandson of Giuseppe – transformed the small family-owned enterprise into a corporation and started bottling its own wine brand, under the name of Jota Pe. In 1996, the corporation launches the Casa Perini brand, a line of top quality sparkling wines elaborated exclusively with vitis vinifera grapes of their own winemaking production.
Today, under protection of the Holy Guardian Angel, Vinícola Perini elaborates its wines branded Jota Pe and Casa Perini, the latter with a distinguished characteristic of grapes from certified European vines trellised in Y-shaped espaliers, in addition to Pretinha, a spirit obtained from grappa and a compound made with regional fruits.
Visitors nowadays have the opportunity to know our vineyards and our Tavern, and taste our wines, juices, and sparkling wines. Next to the tavern, a cozy Retail Sales place is being created, where in the near future the Casa Perini products will have the chance to be tasted and purchased. |
